Mission Statement

Church of the One God is a religious charitable organization. The organization has met the requirements for obtaining tax-exempt status, 501(c)(3), from the Internal Revenue Service and said exemption was granted on August 27, 1998. The purpose and philosophy of the organization is to offer, at no charge, spiritual counseling and Reiki energy healing. The counseling will center on an individuals belief in, and connection to, a Higher Power.

This spiritual development will be utilized to deal with any and all living problems, such as substance abuse, alcoholism, non-substance oriented addictions, relationship problems with self or others, grief, illness, PTSD etc. Reiki is a form of hands on energy healing that will be used as needed for soothing and/or healing purposes. It is the organization's belief that God is spiritual, not religious.

All too often the messenger becomes more important than the message. This organization has been formed to get the message out and to show people how to better their lives by spiritual practice and the application of spiritual principles. The organization further believes that God is a power greater than humans and is loving, caring and forgiving and that worship is a private matter. Each individual can define God differently and therefore pray and/or meditate differently.

Membership in a group or organization isn't what's important. Connection to a Higher Power is, therefore, this organization isn't looking for members. It will provide spiritual counseling and/or energy healing to individuals and families regardless of belief, lack of belief or affiliation.
